Good Samaritan Society – Kissimmee Home Care is a Medicare-certified home health
agency that offers skilled nursing services, rehabilitation services and companion care services. These services are provided within the comfort and familiar surroundings of the client’s home, with an emphasis on promoting independence, wellness and providing emotional support for the
client and family. The service area includes Osceola, Poinciana and southern Orange counties. Both Medicare and private services are offered.

Outpatient Therapies |

Outpatient therapy provides therapeutic intervention to individuals of all ages who do not
require hospitalization or 24-hour nursing care. Outpatient therapy is beneficial in providing
initial assessment and follow-up supportive treatment to individuals who need specialized
assistance in learning or strengthening motor skills. These are needed to maximize independence and safety and to enable them to lead independent, productive and satisfying lives through a variety of therapeutic activities.

Skilled nursing services are provided 24 hours a day to residents whose conditions are complex and/or medically unstable and who require frequent medical or nursing intervention. Daily nursing supervision is provided to residents needing health services and restorative or
maintenance assistance with medications, eating, dressing, walking and other personal care
needs.

Memory Care |

Memory care is a specialized service that serves the unique needs of residents with Alzheimer’s
disease and related dementia. Staff members are trained in the cognitive, environmental,
behavioral and communication needs of residents with Alzheimer’s, providing compassionate care in a calm, homelike
environment with secured access. Specialized activities and environments are used to enhance each resident’s sense of
self-esteem and community.
