Good Samaritan Society gets back in the holiday spirit

JACKSON, M.N. - Good Samaritan Society - Jackson is gearing up for a full holiday season of happiness this year, with numerous activities planned for residents and special meals as well — a marked departure from last year, when COVID-19 was ravaging the facility, which was closed to visitors.

“We’ve been able to do booster clinics for our residents and staff,” administrator Paige Bloom said, “and that’s the big reason why we’ve been able to move back to normal over the past months.”

“It’s great that we’re able to get back to normal and that our residents have been able to reconnect with friends and family after everything,” Bloom said. “That’s something we’re really happy to see.”
