“It’s the best pie I ever had,” resident Jane Green said. “The crust was just so fluffy, the cherries were sweet, and the chocolate was chocolatey.”

Annette, resident Betty’s daughter, came up with the idea after talking with multiple caretakers, who all had a different favorite pie.

Of course, Annette had to bring her mom’s favorite, which is a tart rhubarb pie.

“I used to make lots of rhubarb pies, sometimes strawberry rhubarb,” Betty said.
