Good Samaritan Society – Bonell Community is Greeley’s only continuing care retirement option. Bonell offers 171 attractive senior apartments ranging in size and services.
RESIDENTIAL SENIOR APARTMENTS
Residents in the senior apartments have the choice of three daily meals, complimentary medical transportation, 24-hour on site security, scheduled daily activities and an extensive wellness program. The wellness program includes exercise, strength and balance classes, and a warm water therapy pool with an average daily temperature of 94 degrees. The therapy pool and Anodoyne Therapy clinic are open to the general public. As additional care services are needed, they can be added in the senior living community. Services include and are not limited to medication management, housekeeping and laundry service.
ASSISTED LIVING
When you need a little help from your friends, the assisted living apartments at Bonell are here to help. The Rosewood and The Manor include three meals a day, 24-hour non-medical Care Companion staffing, medication management, medical transportation and daily activities. The Manor — a 40-bed neighborhood — is available to both private pay and Medicaid residents. In 2004, The Rosewood opened, providing an additional 16-bed private pay community with four rooms available for double occupancy. Additional care services can be added as needed.
LONG-TERM CARE
Bonell is one of the largest long-term care centers in Colorado with 210 licensed skilled nursing beds, including specialized units for Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Quality care of each resident is based on a thorough assessment of medical requirements, including emotional, social and spiritual needs. Twenty-four hour care is provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. Individualized care is also provided by a licensed therapy staff, professional social services staff, a dining services team, activities staff and volunteer services department.
