You are always welcome at Good Samaritan Society – George! When you walk through our door you feel the warmth and hospitality we provide. We have been providing quality care and services to George and the surrounding area since 1969 and we are thankful for the community's support.
We are first and foremost a Christian organization. We care for the whole person, body and soul. Our spiritual program includes daily worship service, grace at meals, Bible studies and communion services. Local pastors of different denominations lead worship services and are encouraged to visit at any time. Residents of all faiths or beliefs are welcome.
Sunset View Memory Care Center provides care for those with Alzheimer's and other dementia diagnosis that need more specialized routines. Staff are trained in the cognitive, environmental, behavioral and communication needs of residents. Specialized activities and environments are used to enhance each resident's sense of self-esteem and community.
Good Samaritan Society - George provides activities, events and special trips that focus on the interests of those we serve. We remain flexible to meet the needs and desires of all our residents.
Meal time is a time for socialization, along with nutrition. Our residents appreciate the home-like touch our cooks add to the meals. We offer specialized diet plans, monitored by a registered dietician.
We can care for up to 48 residents in our extremely clean and well-maintained building. We are Medicare Certified and also accept Medicaid and Long Term Care Insurance.
