Good Samaritan Society – Atwood is conveniently located, and you will find that residents have an active role in decision-making in all aspects of their daily routine. Upon admission to the community, residents are encouraged to decorate their new home with their personal furnishings. Our Christian Communities of Care program has strong support from more than 200 volunteers who provide one-on-one interaction with residents at Good Samaritan Society – Atwood. Residents are encouraged to enjoy the relaxing sun room, aviary and community pets.

Since 1962, the Good Samaritan Society – Atwood has been a part of the Atwood community. We employ more than 60 staff members who care for 45 residents. Whether they live down Pioneer Trail, Meadowlark Lane or Sunflower Avenue inside our center, the homelike, personal place provides a true Christian community of care. The center receives support from local churches, a friendly community, and the belief that “In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone.”

We strive to provide care that enables each resident to achieve his or her highest level of physical and mental functioning. We invite you to take a look at our center and talk with the residents, families and staff members.
