Since 1959, Good Samaritan Society – Ellis has had a solid reputation in Ellis County. Innovation has been the forefront, providing the first assisted living community in a five-county area since 1978. The unconditional love provided by staff members ensures each resident lives every day to the fullest. Upon admission, each resident receives specially designed dietary and activity plans to improve his or her quality of life.

In 1986, a therapy department was added, and the center continues to provide therapy and skilled healthcare for residents of Ellis and surrounding communities. Proud to be a leader in rural Kansas, the therapy department has provided therapy and rehabilitative services, allowing individuals to return to their homes in and around Ellis. During 2006, nearly 20 individuals returned home following therapy services from Good Samaritan Society – Ellis.
