The Good Samaritan Society –Comforcare is a community of faith with strong family values, caring for and respecting one another. Our short-term patients and long-term residents are in motion and experience the bounty and rewards of life while receiving the highest quality of care. When living with us, one continues to pursue new life experiences with many social, recreational, spiritual, educational and cultural programs.
Our state-of-the-art care center, opened December 2007, is designed for the ultimate well being of our residents and patients. We’ve created three separate neighborhoods -short stay rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing, and memory impairment care - with their own lounges and dining areas where residents can socialize with people at their own level of care, relax and reflect. This sense of community and commonality provides social stimulation and encourages friendships.
The Good Samaritan Society – Comforcare specializes in short-term, subacute rehabilitation for patients needing therapy following hospitalization as a result of an illness, surgery or accident. We offer spacious private rooms with full bathrooms and showers, private telephones, satellite TV and many other amenities. With our extensive physical, occupational and speech therapies, plus 24-hour skilled nursing care, we can meet our collective goal of providing the necessary training and physical strengthening to achieve the highest level of function, enabling a safe return home. We now offer Home Care services as well, both non-medical and medical services.
