The Good Samaritan Society – Battle Lake is nestled on five beautifully landscaped acres in the quaint tourism town of Battle Lake, Minn. The small community is wrapped around the western edge of West Battle Lake in central Minnesota’s lake county. The center has a beautiful view where just outside your window, you will enjoy the beauty of West Battle Lake and the sounds of nesting loons. Our continuum of care includes senior housing apartments, assisted living and a skilled 55-bed nursing center.
The Good Samaritan Society – Battle Lake is dedicated to providing a caring, home-like atmosphere for residents needing long-term care and an aggressive short-term rehabilitation/transitional care program for people who are transitioning to home after a hospital stay. The center provides physical, occupation, speech and restorative nursing services designed to provide care that enables residents to achieve his or her highest level of physical and mental functioning.
All of our residents have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as reading group, cookie cutters, mens/ladies group and bingo, just to name a few. They also may enjoy strolling through the beautiful landscaped outdoors or take a bus ride during the spring, summer and fall. Our campus is blessed to have many volunteers to assist with activities, special outings and wonderful programs. With a wide variety of activities offered daily, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Our mission is to share God’s love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to older persons and others in need, believing that “In Christ’s love, Everyone Is Someone.” Whether you are in short-term recovery or making this your permanent home, our friendly, caring staff will do all they can to make your stay with us a pleasant one.
