Good Samaritan Society – Glenwood Lakeview has been providing quality long-term care services in the Glenwood community for more than 40 years.
Glenwood Lakeview's dedicated staff members provide skilled nursing care and continually strive to create a homelike environment for each resident at the center. We also strive to live out the mission of The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society: to share God’s love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to older persons and others in need, believing that "In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone."
We focus on the care needs of the entire person—physical, emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual. The specialized medical care available includes in-house physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapies, and podiatry, optometry, dental and laboratory services. Recreational programs at the center, from active games to musical entertainment, not only stimulate physical activity, but also provide a feeling of fellowship. Another important aspect of our care is the spiritual fellowship many of the residents enjoy, which consists of daily devotions and hymn sings and weekly worship services.
Our location features a breathtaking view of Lake Minnewaska and is next door to Glacial Ridge Health System. Residents can enjoy recreational opportunities, intergenerational activities and transportation to local medical appointments.
