The Good Samaritan Society – Blackduck is situated in the heart of the beautiful northwoods, where visitors are greeted by majestic pine trees by day and the northern lights by night. This quiet country setting in the town of Blackduck provides a wonderful atmosphere for physical and spiritual healing.

Our mission is to provide holistic care for seniors in Blackduck and surrounding communities who are in need of assistance with their activities of daily living. We provide services that help them to continue living God’s gift of life. Our focus is on dignity, respect, compassion and love. We practice a family approach with a Christian philosophy, which is the code of conduct of the advisory board, staff and volunteers. Our mission is to provide an environment that promotes life, a spirit of love and compassion.

Our center is designed to provide care for people with various medical conditions such as rehabilitative care, and individuals who may not be able to live independently and require assistance in meeting their daily living needs. Staff members at Good Samaritan Society – Blackduck are caring, professional individuals. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing the highest quality of care in a Christ-centered environment of comfort, compassion and dignity.

The Good Samaritan Society – Blackduck is a Medicare and Medicaid certified, 24-hour skilled nursing center. Resident features include newly renovated private rooms with a private bathroom and single rooms with a shared bathroom.

Our in-house therapy department provides occupational and physical therapy both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Inpatient speech therapy is also available. Residents in our center are provided with an on-going restorative care program. This program is designed to enable each individual the opportunity to achieve and maintain the highest level of independent mobility possible.
