Good Samaritan Society – Algona is set on a 10-acre campus in southwestern Algona, Iowa, which is in southern Kossuth County in northcentral Iowa. The center overlooks the picturesque Des Moines River and a beautiful wooded hillside. Built in 1966 with additions in 1972,1987, 1993, 2000 and 2006, Good Samaritan Society – Algona is a 90-bed Medicare/Medicaid certified skilled nursing center with a 14-bed Alzheimer's unit, rehabilitation center, 28-unit senior living apartment complex and a 16-unit assisted living facility.

Good Samaritan Society – Algona provides the only Medicare-certified skilled care, Alzheimer's unit, senior living apartments and assisted living facility in Kossuth County.

Our mission is to share God's love in word and deed by providing housing and supportive services to older persons and others in need, believing that "In Christ's Love, Everyone Is Someone." Whether you are convalescing or making our center your permanent home, our friendly staff members will do all they can to make your stay with us a pleasant experience.
