The Good Samaritan Society – Auburn is now offering residents and their families the opportunity to use Skype to communicate with each other. Skype is a free, online service that uses a web camera to allow residents to visit with family members across the country and even world through video on their computer screens. They can visit face-to-face, share pictures and see grandchildren. Skype is easy for both families and residents to use, and provides a type of communication that is not possible through phone or e-mail.

 

Auburn student Satoshi Thiele is willing to set up Skype for our residents and their families.  In order to participate, you will need a computer and a webcam. A webcam is fairly inexpensive and can be bought at most electronic stores. We will provide both of these items for our residents.
