WellAWARE is a system that discreetly collects important information to help seniors continue to live independently. Sensors can be placed throughout a home in key areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and on doors. Measuring movement in the home can effectively assess how well a person is able to complete daily tasks of living such as cooking, bathing and walking. Other sensors, such as those placed on a bed, can identify health concerns that require attention. Information from these sensors is review regularly by healthcare professionals.
