Good Samaritan Society – George

When you walk through the door of Good Samaritan Society – George, you will feel the warmth and hospitality that sets us apart. We have been providing quality care and services to George and the surrounding area since 1969, and we are thankful for the community’s support.  

We are first and foremost a Christian organization. We care for the whole person, body, mind and soul. Our spiritual program includes daily worship service, grace at meals, Bible studies and communion services. Local pastors of different denominations lead worship services and are encouraged to visit at any time. We live by our motto: “In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone.” Residents of all faiths or beliefs are welcome.

Sunset View Memory Care Center provides care for those with Alzheimer’s or other dementia that need more specialized routines. Staff are trained in the cognitive, environmental, behavioral and communication needs of residents. Specialized activities and environments are used to enhance each resident’s sense of self-esteem and community.
