Volunteer
The healthcare center at Good Samaritan Society – Kissimmee Village is always in need of the loving hands and talents of volunteers.
Activities Director Laurie Stevens says most volunteers call bingo games or visit with individual residents. They read, play cards and reminisce.
“Sometimes volunteers take a resident out to the butterfly garden. The residents really love it if a volunteer plays an instrument,” she says.
Whether it’s providing music, assisting with special programs and activities, or helping residents with daily needs, each volunteer helps enhance the lives of residents. There are many opportunities for volunteers to share their time and talents.
