At Good Samaritan Society – Newell, you will find a family-like atmosphere, where care is based on love and genuine compassion for one another. As a Medicare- and Medicaid-certified rehabilitation and skilled care center, we pride ourselves on the exceptional care and services we provide to seniors and others in need.

Our center offers 24-hour skilled nursing care for those who require frequent medical attention; restorative nursing and rehabilitation programs, including physical, occupational and speech therapy; respite care to offer quality activities and supportive services to seniors and others in need, while primary caregivers work or pursue other daytime activities or errands; and hospice services to provide comfort and care to terminally ill patients and their families during the final stages of life.

Above all, we encourage residents to cherish each day for the gift that it is, and to live life to the fullest. Individual care plans are established and frequently updated for every resident. A wide variety of programs and individual activities are offered to maintain and enhance our residents’ quality of life. Programs focus on the mental, emotional, spiritual, physical and social needs of each individual resident. In addition, many dedicated volunteers and staff members assist with special programs, outings and individual and group visits.
