Spiritual care ministry

Spiritual care ministry is available for you

With 425 acres and a rich Christian heritage of service to Central Florida, there’s a number of areas both natural and man-made that lend themselves to prayer and meditation.

The memory garden includes a quaint prayer chapel where there are recorded hymns and prayers provided for your comfort. The stained glass windows look out over the ossuary and toward the fountain of Lake Heart, which provides a peaceful sound. This special area also includes a bell tower that broadcasts chimes and cloaks the community in a hymn on the hour, and a statue of Christ. Both are generous gifts from resident donors.

Good Samaritan Society – Kissimme Village provides a full-time Village chaplain to tend to the spiritual needs of residents and staff members. Chaplain Tim can answer any questions or assist with arrangements that may need to be made using this area. Kelly Lyons, resource development director, can share options to help memorialize a loved one here. Click here to learn more about the available programs, studies and worship services.

Thrift shop

The Kissimmee Village thrift shop is a thriving community outreach program for Osceola County. The operation is staffed by a dedicated group of Village residents. The shop is open 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday.
