We are currently seeking several Charge Nurses, preferably with long-term care/geriatric experience. Their primary responsibilities would include :
-Providing compassionate, quality care, using effective Alzheimer and dementia approaches.
-Leader of an interdisciplinary care team, making comprehensive nursing assessments with ability to formulate and carry out effective interventions for on-going plans of care.
The successful candidate must possess a current, valid IA Nursing license, strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and initiative. Successful candidates must successfully pass a Criminal History and Background check, post-offer physical agility and drug test. LPN candidates must also complete the "Supervisory Skills for LPN's" course in accordance with requirements from the Iowa Board of Nursing.
