As the database analyst, Carmen Kock is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of the Society and the Foundation’s donor and gift data. She provides training and support to end users at National Campus and at the Society’s locations across the U.S. The Foundation Leadership Team relies on her expertise in reporting the data, and she is an essential part of the Foundation’s efforts to build a culture of data confidence.
Carmen has spent most of her career in the world of data from working in data entry and reporting to data procedures and integrity. While working in a small non-profit where she was the key contact with constituents, Carmen came to see the importance of good customer service and dealing with the specific needs of each individual and how data integrity was crucial to making each person feel valued.
In her free time, Carmen volunteers with Sioux Falls Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and enjoys teaching piano lessons, camping, reading, and spending time with family.
