Chuck’s passion is connecting people’s talents, time and treasure to a worthy cause. His entire career has been devoted to the non-profit sector in the areas of fundraising, volunteer recruitment and development.
He served as the Foundation Manager for a critical access hospital in Northwest Iowa where he gained experience in capital campaigns, direct mail appeals, event planning, volunteer coordination, donor cultivation and stewardship, and grant-writing.
He looks forward to his role in supporting Good Samaritan Society locations’ resource development efforts. The importance of the Society’s mission has personally impacted his family. His grandmother was well-cared-for at a Good Samaritan Society rehabilitation and skilled care center. Chuck’s love for the senior community was cultivated in early grade school while he “assisted” his mom in her role as nursing home activities director.
Chuck graduated from the University of South Dakota. He loves spending time with wife and children, and says he would golf more if he had the time.
