10 great reasons to move to Olds Hall
    1. The world-famous Daytona Beach: You can enjoy world-class dining, a stroll along the beach, or a morning sunrise. The beach became famous and was instrumental in the formation of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) where beach racing began in the 1930s.
    2. Historic downtown Daytona Beach: Just two blocks away, you can walk from your loft to the coffee shop, bakery, and boutiques and enjoy the scenic Halifax River. Or reserve one of the 2,521 seats at the famous Peabody Auditorium for a musical event, comedy show or Broadway play.
    3. Beautiful architecture of Olds Hall: Soaring ceilings, large windows with abundant lighting, original honeycomb tiles and unique custom made stained-glass windows — original to the Lofts — combine with modern kitchens to complement the historic architecture of the building.
    4. Spaces to relax: Spend your days reading a book, conversing with new friends, or enjoying your morning coffee on one of Olds Hall's verandas. With 300 plus days of sunshine a year, an opportunity to enjoy your retirement awaits you.
    5. The Daytona 500: The biggest, richest and most prestigious race on the NASCAR schedule — and the one race every driver wants to win. Did you know Ransom E. Olds, founder of Oldsmobile, once owned The Lofts at Olds Hall? Olds was instrumental in the early days of beach racing.
    6. St. Augustine: Just 60 miles away, the nation’s oldest city also holds the distinction of being one of the nation’s most charming. The year-round mild climate is perfect for strolling St. Augustine’s delightful historic district, with its cobblestone streets, quaint cafes, bars, unique shops and bed-and-breakfast inns. Experience the beauty of an early morning that slowly comes alive with locals and tourists setting out on foot to explore significant landmarks including the Castillo de San Marcos, Lightner Museum, Flagler College and Fort Matanzas.
    7. Daytona Beach Bike Week: This annual event has been going strong for more than 75 years. You can enjoy the show from the shaded front porch, at the Lofts at Olds Hall, or be a guest at one of the local establishments. The rally started in 1937 and is held every spring in Daytona.
    8. Ponce Inlet Lighthouse: When this lighthouse was lit in 1887, it could be seen by ships twenty miles away. Today, historic tours of the park and lighthouse are available. It’s part of what makes Daytona famous today.
    9. Jackie Robinson Ballpark: Batter up, this ballpark is only a pitch away from the Lofts at Olds Hall. This stadium originally opened in 1914 and was later named for famous ball player Jackie Robinson.
    10. Premier dining locations: From fish to barbecue, we have a list of premier dining locations that have served the community for many years. You won’t be disappointed with the menu or the atmosphere.
