Post-acute rehabilitation services are for people of all ages who no longer need hospital care, but would benefit from additional therapy and care before returning home following injury, illness or surgery. Our Medicare-certified post-acute rehab programs feature therapy gyms and include physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Road to Recovery post-acute rehabilitation
When you receive post-acute care here, you'll find 24-hour skilled nursing care, and you'll recover in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere as you work toward your goals.
And best of all, your rehab therapy team will tailor our services to your individual needs, helping you recover as quickly and safely as possible.
In August, Jill Blanchard came to our campus for post-acute rehab following a stroke.
She had recovered quite well in the hospital, but when she arrived home she realized she needed more therapy than she had received.
Jill's son, who had gone to school with therapy manager Toni Hobbs, suggested to his mom that she try the Good Samaritan Society's program. Although it was 45 minutes from home, she agreed.
Today, Jill is regaining the strength and mobility she needs to return home, and she says that there are "no better" therapy programs in the area and that everything at Good Samaritan Society — Hot Springs Village runs "like a well-oiled machine."
In addition to making physical progress, Jill says she is making friends with her care team—friends that she knows will be with her for a lifetime.
