Chair yoga nourishes your mind, body and soul
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Prescott Village residents of all skill levels have an opportunity to enjoy chair yoga, presented by a trained yoga instructor.
Participants can take what they learn in the workshop and easily repeat the practice in their homes.
This workshop teaches participants how to properly flex and breathe with each exercise, and our residents say this helps with everything from mobility to breathing to mental stimulation.
Participant Ronnie Cottrill didn't even realize how beneficial the class was until she didn't attend a session.
“Really, the difference is felt when you stop going," she says. "This class helps me keep my muscles and joints moving without experiencing pain.”
