Doris Ann has lived in the Fennimore area her entire life. She was born and raised on a family farm near Fennimore. She married a local farmer and they farmed in the Fennimore area as well. They had a daughter and a son. After retiring from farming, Doris Ann worked at the local insurance company in Fennimore. Her daughter lives only two houses away from Sunset Fields apartments. Doris Ann also has two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. She explains why she likes Sunset Fields:
Four years ago, I moved to Sunset Fields. The atmosphere here was very welcoming and made my transition into senior living stress free. The apartments are very comfortable and consist of a living room, kitchen with appliances, nice size bedroom and walk-in shower with a seat. The laundry room is easily accessible.
Residents who want to can use the county meal site, which is on site at noon. It's also offered to the public. Southwest Tech runs physical therapy and students are here to work with us for balance and strength.
We also have activities and movies offered.
Sunset Fields is a 16-unit facility on a quiet street over looking farm land in Fennimore, Wisconsin. It is a beautiful building and is well maintained. I am proud to call Sunset Fields my senior living home.
