Algona Man Wins National Volunteer Award from Good Samaritan Society


ALGONA, I.A. - Howard Lacey is being recognized as one of six national winners of the “Volunteer of the Year” award from the Good Samaritan Society.

Nathan Schema serves as President and CEO of the Good Samaritan Society, and he was on hand to present the national award to Howard.

Howard’s wife Marilyn is a resident at Good Sam, and he can be found there everyday visiting her and other residents. As part of his award, Howard will be recognized along with the other national winners at a ceremony in Sioux Falls later this year.
