LOVELAND C.O., -When longtime Loveland resident Helen Hengl woke up Friday morning, she was ready to celebrate her 100th birthday, a milestone she said she wasn’t sure she would reach. By the afternoon, she was being surprised with a party with the other Good Samaritan residents she lives with.
“When you hit 100, you are hitting a big milestone,” said Good Samaritan Society –Loveland Village manager. “Helen gives us inspiration that we can all hit that milestone and be in as good of shape as she is".
“I never dreamed I would make it,” Hengl said. “But boy I did.”
