CANTON, S.D. - The tight-knit community of Canton came together to help bring joy to nursing home residents at GSS - Canton by donating money to bring in a petting zoo called ‘All God's Critters’.
Staff say the animals provide an engaging and emotional experience for residents, along with laughter and storytelling between residents.
Many residents grew up on farms or had pets prior to moving into the nursing home, so these animals evoke so many wonderful memories for them.
