Many community friends have blessed Good Samaritan Society – Greeley Communities. We value individuals and groups who take time from their busy lives to visit with our residents and enhance their quality of life through volunteering.
During special times of the year, several individuals and groups come to serve and entertain residents. Girl Scouts, Boy Scout troops and other groups make volunteering part of their traditions.
Thank you to these people for keeping our residents in their thoughts throughout the year.
Our community also honors volunteers who make Good Samaritan Society – Greeley Communities a part of their daily, weekly or monthly routine. They share their talents and gifts with residents in remarkable ways. Our volunteers reflect the Good Samaritan Society Way by showing eight traits: compassion, courage, honesty, joy, humility, perseverance, acceptance and love.
Some volunteers come every week to offer socialization, music and prayer. Others come every month to provide a program of favorite songs. Several volunteers offer spiritual care by hosting a devotional. Some volunteers are residents in our independent living apartments. They give their time to their neighbors by running the country store/ice cream parlor.

Our volunteers are our friends, neighbors and community members. They volunteer not because they are rewarded with recognition, but because they have compassion, love and a need to share it. They are one of the greatest gifts to our community. Everyone here at Good Samaritan Society – Greeley Communities thanks all the volunteers for the many hours they spend with residents.
