DENVER, C.O. - 5 senior veterans are getting a chance to do something that they never expected. They’re going for a ride in a vintage biplane. The non-profit Dream Flights makes these special trips possible.
“The youngest one is turning 80 and our oldest one is almost 100, 98 – so kind of anywhere in between. And what’s really cool is that they all served in different wars, in different conflicts,” said Nate Klaus, Good Samaritan Society – LovelandVillage life enrichment coordinator.
