Austin nurse receives national award for her pandemic work

ROCHESTER, M.N. – Jenna Crooks of Mason City, Iowa, has received the 'National Ever Forward Director of Nursing Champion' award for her work in long-term care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Crooks is the director of nursing at Good Samaritan Society - Comforcare in Austin, Minnesota.

"I was very shocked but it feels amazing. The last year has been really rough so you know the recognition is nice but, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat," Crooks said.

Crooks' work in long-term care facilities during the pandemic was above and beyond for so many reasons.
