Davenport nursing home gives back by serving meals to the homeless


DAVENPORT, I.A. - Staff from the Good Samaritan Society – Davenport and a nursing home resident brought 150 meals to Christian Care, King's Harvest, and St. Mark's Church on Monday.

The Good Samaritan Society as an organization is celebrating 100 years of serving and care for residents. Monday kicked off the week-long celebration at Good Samaritan Society-Davenport of the important milestone.

Good Samaritan Society – Davenport staff say they love to be active in the community and give back to others. This is one example of how they do just that. It’s a way to thank the community for the support they provide to the nursing home staff and residents.
