Good Samaritan Society residents make Valentine's Day cards for first responders

Assisted-living residents at Good Samaritan Society - Prairie Creek were getting in the valentine spirit by making cards for first responders to thank them for all that they do.

‘I hope they feel my warmth and feel appreciated,” said Margaret Novak, Prairie Creek Assisted Living resident.

‘We make cards around Valentine’s Day but what can we do that’s meaningful to the community – and making these for the first responders, the firefighters; EMTs; police officers that report to this campus when there’s an emergency and giving thanks to them and all the work they do for us,’ said Taryn Siemonsma-Garry, Prairie Creek activities supervisor.
