GSS Residents Decorating Street Poles


HASTINGS, N.E. - Vikki Robinson, a member of the advisory board at Good Samaritan Village, pitched the idea for a campus-wide competition after seeing a similar contest in another community.

“As an advisory board, we try to do new things,” she said. “Our purpose was to bring people together and include those who might not partake in other activities. We want people to have value and purpose.”

“It completely blew our expectations away,” activities director at GSV Ashely Fitzgerald said. “The ladies who headed it up were such cheerleaders for it. It excited people that it involved the entire campus.”
