Sanford Clinic, Lewis Drug and Good Samaritan coming under one roof

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sanford Health will break ground on a new $200 million senior care facility in southeast Sioux Falls this spring.

“The demand exists already today, we have a lot of wait lists for our current facility,” Good Samaritan Society VP of Operations Aimee Middleton said.

“We’ll have anything from independent living apartments and villas to memory care and assisted living and also skilled nursing for those needing some rehabilitation and long term care,” Middleton said.

The state of the art facility includes new built in efficiencies designed to help the more than 200 staff members that will work at the new Good Samaritan Society Founder’s Crossing campus.

“We want to give our caregivers a chance to do it in an efficient way so they can spend more time at the bedside of the seniors that they care for,” Middleton said.
