Veterans fly high thanks to traveling non-profit

DENVER, C.O. - Residents from Good Samaritan Society – Water Valley Senior Living Resort received a life-changing experience – an open-air flight in the cockpit in a fully restored WWII-era Stearman biplane through Dream Flights.

“There are millions and millions of veterans out there that had their role that they performed and everything like that. Each one should be honored for the service that he did,” said resident and veteran Jim Roppo.

“You know, so many more guys deserve this flight than me,” said Roppo.

“This is absolutely phenomenal. It means the world to me that somebody remembers You and stuff like that,” said Roppo.
