Join the millions of safer drivers on the roads with the AARP Smart Driver Course. AARP Driver Safety teaches safe driving techniques that make a difference in your life and community.

Open to drivers of all ages, the course is especially valuable for those 55 and older. Minnesota law requires drivers age 55+ to complete a certified driver safety course every three years, and participants who meet this requirement may qualify for a 10% discount on their auto insurance.
